Introduction

A 9 year-old presented to CFNC complaining of behavioral regression and sensory issues, anxiety and OCD, and hypotonia. He has a previous diagnosis of PANS/PANDAS and CIRS.

Examination

Upon examination, we found retained primitive reflexes, diminished reflexive eye movements to the right and down, and irregular pupillary light reflexes in both eyes.

Treatment

The patient was seen twice per week for six weeks. Treatment consisted of GyroStim, neurosensorimotor integration, peripheral nerve stimulation, Bemer therapy, red and near infrared light and interactive metronome.

Results

At his last check in, the patient reported that he has been able to keep up with peers during football, emotional regulation was improved, and sensory issues were improved. His coaches even noticed he came a long way with his balance, endurance, and strength!
