Our ideal candidate:

Has experience providing administrative support and customer service in a medical office or health clinic setting.

Is an excellent communicator; with strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management discipline.

Is collaborative and proactively engages with patients and physician staff; takes direction and uses good judgment while acting independently.

Has strong critical thinking skills; is flexible and able to smoothly transition tasks throughout the day in our busy environment.

Can show steady work experience via their resume (no job hoppers).

Responsibilities in this role include:
-
Answering phones, greeting all patients and providing guidance about office protocols.

Prospective patient in-take and follow-up discussions to inform them of the type of care we offer. Communicating applicable financial information and clinic policies.

Scheduling and coordinating patient consults and appointments using EHR software.

Medical records set-up and managing patient accounts using EHR; obtaining patient information, medical authorizations, transfers and receipt of records.

Administrative support for business aspects of the practice: processing payments for services; invoicing; inventory and supplies.

Assisting physician team as needed and keeping an active pulse on the patient experience. Identifying potential barriers to high-quality health care in a timely manner, and coordinating with clinic staff to resolve any issues that arise.

Demonstrating a friendly, compassionate, and professional attitude at all times and handling all patient questions and information with courtesy and discretion, in-person, via email and phone.

Maintaining a clean work environment.

Adhering to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) regarding patient confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree required
-
Experience in a healthcare setting and/or medical office is required

Proficiency with Google Suite
-
Experience with EHR software required
